Ryan Butler

President Ryan Butler. A recent Graduate of Allegany College of Maryland class of Spring 2022, he is now attending Frostburg State University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. For the past 7-years he has worked Part-time at the YMCAs of Fredericksburg and Stafford Rappahannock Area YMCA as the Assistant Director of childcare, and Cumberland branch as an afterschool teacher. As Frostburg participated in the Burg Peer Education and became a nationally certified Peer educator. Throughout my employment with the Y, he has gained certifications in Medical Administration, First-Aid and CPR, leadership and team management, and occupational health and safety.

Abbigayle Rowton

Abbigayle Rowton always had a passion for animals, saying how she wanted to be a Marine Biologist at age six. The job she wishes to obtain has changed but never too far from what she’s originally had planned. Abbigayle hopes to join an agency that specializes in conservation for endangered species once she finished schooling. Abby’s always been someone involved in group activities as she grew up, being a competitive athlete for years. She joined the Peer Education Network before school started last fall. Last year, the BURG network helped her grow as an individual, and this semester she’s excited to take on the role of Treasurer.
